Major Milestone at the Cru Lake Hart North Building CEP Expansion

CIS highlighted a major project milestone in Orlando at the Cru Lake Hart North Building Central Energy Plant expansion. The post featured before-and-after photos showing the addition of a new Marley cooling tower and the visible transformation of the site. This upgrade increases system capacity while supporting long-term reliability, positioning the facility to meet growing demand with efficient, dependable performance for years to come.

Smart Design & Execution in a Noise-Sensitive School Environment

Another March post spotlighted a school project centered around one key priority: noise control. With residential neighbors adjacent to the site and existing chillers generating repeated sound complaints, the solution required both performance and acoustics. CIS featured the installation of two 400-ton Carrier 30XV variable speed screw air-cooled chillers, along with sound attenuating pergolas and compressor blankets, helping reduce sound levels, improve efficiency, and create a better outcome for both the facility and the surrounding community.

Supporting MMR Group’s New Warehouse in Lafayette

CIS highlighted its role in supporting MMR Group’s new warehouse in Lafayette, Louisiana, with the installation of Carrier HVAC equipment. The facility is part of MMR’s $55.2 million expansion in Louisiana, and the post tied CIS’s project involvement to broader regional growth, innovation, and job creation. It was a strong example of how CIS continues to support major commercial and industrial developments with reliable, efficient HVAC solutions.

Vendor Showcase 2026 Brings the Industry Together

One of the biggest highlights of the month was the CIS Vendor Showcase at the New Orleans headquarters. CIS shared that the event welcomed more than 450 attendees, 30-plus manufacturers, and more than 350 customers and partners for a full day of connection and collaboration. The post captured both the business value and the atmosphere of the event, from innovative HVAC conversations to crawfish, char-grilled oysters, live music, and March Madness on the big screen. It also noted the presence of Chirag Baijal, Managing Director of Applied Equipment, North America at Carrier, alongside many valued manufacturer partners.

Accelerating Timelines with a Fast-Tracked Carrier Chiller Delivery

To close out the month, CIS shared a project where the team supported a customer with the delivery and startup of a Carrier chiller. By sourcing available equipment and acting quickly, CIS helped accelerate the project timeline and allowed the end user to begin realizing energy savings nearly a year ahead of schedule without compromising performance or reliability. The post also recognized Keith Earhart for leading the effort and delivering a solution that met high expectations.
