When people look at a skyline, they see architecture. We see the infrastructure that makes those buildings function.
CIS Industries is proud to be part of the team bringing the Paramount Tower at 1010 Church Street in Nashville to life. Once completed, the 60-story tower is expected to become the tallest building in Tennessee, a landmark project that will redefine the city’s skyline.
Working alongside The Lee Company, CIS Industries Hydronics division supplied a Grundfos Hydro MPC-EC 5CR45-7 Quintuplex (5-Pump), 60 HP Main Booster System with a 400 PSI hydro-pneumatic tank to provide reliable water pressure throughout the building.
While construction is currently complete through the 22nd floor, a major milestone has already been achieved. The booster system has been successfully started up, allowing water service to reach up to the 40th floor so construction can continue upward.
The completed building will utilize two dedicated Grundfos booster systems:
- Main Booster System: Serves Floors 1–40
- Secondary Booster System: Will serve Floors 41–60
Designing water pressure systems for buildings of this scale requires careful engineering, precision, and dependable equipment. As buildings rise higher, delivering consistent water pressure becomes increasingly complex, making booster systems an essential part of the infrastructure.
